Please see below for the most recent information from Furniture Matters regarding COVID-19 and how we are working to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.

After careful consideration we have taken the decision to close our stores to protect customers, staff and the wider public. We are however still open of business via our online shopping outlets on Facebook and eBay.

Bulky Waste Contracts

Due to the effects of the current coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, we have had to suspend our Bulky Waste services in Blackpool and Wyre, and we will not be accepting any new bookings until further notice.

Our Bulky Waste service in Lancaster is now operating again, as of the 1st April. If you have booked a slot, our Bulky Matters operatives will not be entering your property. We are therefore advising people that have booked the service to leave their items outside of their property. To arrange a collection please call Lancaster Council on 01524 582491

Our team are working hard to continue to deliver our services where possible and if we can help you please call us on 01524 426622.

At Furniture Matters we’re continuing to monitor the Government response and are currently following the most up to date advice available. You can find the latest government updates here.

We will be updating this page regularly as the situation develops.
